When choosing surprise gift for children, I pay attention to functionality, good quality and ingenuity of construction and use. A toy should have many possibilities of use. It should stimulate action, creativity and fun. Often the simpler something is, the more possibilities it gives to use it in various interesting games.
In our house we already had many different toys, blocks, or games. Both creative, various gadgets, junk, but also original and interesting, which are not widely available in stores, but you can buy them, for example, on the Internet.
